How I styled my Houndstooth skirt

I wanted to do an outfit post on what I wore last Sunday everyone seemed to like it, so I thought I would find alternatives for you as everything I wore was pulled from the back of my wardrobe!!! I think I’ve said it before but styles come and go, if you have something that you really love keep it and I guarantee it will come back into fashion or can be restyled to fit in with the current trends.  I also think that the trends we have seen over the past couple of years have to be my favourite, easy to wear and really it feels there are very few rules and I like that!  I’m not really one for rules and routine but that’s another post for another day……………

My blouse is from Vera & Lucy, it’s chiffon with a lovely embellished collar.  Unfortunately I have searched high and low and can find nothing like it so its time to improvise, I found a nice black blouse in Primark have a look here €11 and teamed it with a collar necklace from Zara buy here €25.95.

The skirt I wore was from Next but I have found similar in Heatons buy here €20.

My boots are from Zara and you can buy here €69.95 and tights are Penneys.

My coat was Penneys from the start of the year, I’m beginning to see a trend – I don’t seem to be able to dress without putting something from Penneys on!!! I found a similar coat on iClothing, it is longer but would work great with this outfit aswell as skinny jeans, boyfriend jeans and a white t-shirt or skinny leather pants and a polo…… can get it here €39.00.

So that’s the details and similar alternatives for Sundays outfit, let me know what you think and if you’ve any questions feel free to leave a comment and I’ll get back to you.

Sarah xx
