Neutrogena Visibly Clear – My Absolute Skin Saviour!

Hey  there Girls,

Since the summer I had been suffering with very bad breakouts, not even spots but boils they where so sore and would take forever to clear and when one went down another was already erupting!  It was really getting to me I couldn’t even cover them with concealer they where so bad.  So I booked an appointment at a Skin clinic, they went through everything and prescribed me a list the length of my left leg  of very expensive products I NEEDED to use to get my skin in tip-top condition and also a course of 6 microdermabrasion facials.  By the time I walked out of the consultation room I was looking at spending well over €600 to sort out my skin and this wasn’t a once off, you would need to continue with the products to keep your skin good.  I purchased the salicylic acid cleanser at €50 to start the process, after 2 months using it my skin was as bad as it had ever been!! I was so disappointed but put it down to the fact that I wasn’t using all the other products along with it.

Before I started all that I had purchased the Neutrogena Visibly Clear pink grapefruit facial wash and the Neutrogena Visibly Clear blackhead eliminating exfoliator (which removes the build up of dead skin) but never got around to using it.  The facial wash claims with its MICROCLEAR technology to help eliminate spots and blackheads with a fresh clean feel and the exfoliator fights blackheads.  So when my expensive cleanser refused to work I thought I couldn’t really do much worse!!

I had seen that a few people hated the smell of the pink grapefruit I actually don’t mind it at all, I kind of actually like it.   With the facial wash I use 2 pumps of gel at night,  the first pump removes the heavy makeup and dirt and the 2nd pump really cleans the skin.  In the morning I only use 1 pump because I’m only using it to take the grease off my skin,  you do need to be careful not to use too much product as it can dry out your skin.  I wet my hands and put the product in my hand and then apply to the skin in gentle circular motions and you can see it dissolve the makeup straight away and then rinse off with warm water and repeat to clean.   I use the Blackhead eliminatijng exfoliator every 2nd evening to give my skin a light exfoliation and I really like the way your skin feels so soft afterwards, I apply this to my skin dry in circular motions concentrating on the problem areas around the nose and chin massage for a minute and then rinse off with warm water.   With this I have continued to use my normal moisturiser.

I’ve now been using this for about 6 weeks religiously and I am so amazed at the results, I haven’t had a spot since after the 1st week I started to use it!!! Ok it is a little slower with the blackheads my nose is almost clear but around my chin is a little tougher,  this I don’t particularly mind I bought it to clear my spots and they have been totally cleared all this for under €10 each.   I would say this is a definite try for any of you who have troublesome skin, I for one will definitely continue to use and repurchase, it shows that you don’t necessarily need to spend a fortune to find a remedy to your problem.  You can buy them in your local supermarket/pharmacy or online with Boots Visibly Clear Pink Grapefruit Facial Wash and Visibly Clear Blackhead eliminating scrub.

Have you used it? Or what do you use to clear your skin of breakouts? Id love to hear any of your thoughts girls and as always I hope you enjoyed.

Love always,

Sarah xxx
