Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water

Hey there Girls,

So Micellar Cleansing water has become something of a phenomenon in recent years on our shores,  the French ladies of course where well ahead of the curve using it since the 90’s to keep their skin cleansed.   It really is a revolution especially for those of use who would rather go to bed with a full face of slap instead of carrying out the cleansing, toning and moisturising ritual we would normally do, especially after a long day OR night!  Wipes are an absolute no-no for your skin with harsh chemicals and being rough enough to sand down wood, so Micellar is definitely the way to go.  It works with no water or rinsing (time-saving already!), all it relies on is tiny micelles which are microscopic oil spheres to dissolve the grease and grime without thankfully stripping the skin (because it contains no alcohol, fragrance or soap).  Most of the big cosmetic companies have brought out their version of this water ranging in price from €4.50 to €30.

It really is hard to believe a bottle of lets face it ‘water’ can achieve all of this effectively,  but believe me it really does!!  I’ve been using the Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water for nearly a year now and I’m on my 3rd bottle, I really do love this product and its suitable for sensitive skin (a big bonus for me).  I generally use mine in the morning time to remove any grease or grime from the night and you would be amazed at the dirt your face picks up whilst you sleep,  I also use it at night when I’m way too lazy to do the full ritual and its unbelievable the little effort I put in to remove a full face of makeup.  All I do is put a squirt or two on  a cotton pad (the big facial pads)and glide it over my eyes and then turn over the pad not applying any more product just use what’s on it and glide it over the rest of my face,  I then repeat the process  and hey presto done, I just apply my moisturiser and hop into bed.  This Micellar Water is priced at €4.50 in Penneys (it will range in price depending where you get it, Penneys being the cheapest),  in my opinion I’d be hard pushed to pay €30 for the same product in a big brand name because this Garnier is a little gem.

So I hope as always that you guys enjoyed, let me know if you have tried it and what you think.
Till the next time my lovlies,
Sarah xxx

I really love it as well. I’m also on my 3rd bottle.
Last month, I was curious to try something new and I bought the “Simple” Miscellar Water. I didn’t like it and it was a little bit more expensive than Garnier. So I went back to this one =)
