Blank Canvas Master Series Palette One

Hey there Girls,

If you guys have been following me for any length of time here, on facebook or Instagram you will know what a fan I am of Blank Canvas Cosmetics.  From their palettes to their brushes I can’t get enough of this Irish owned business, it’s so great to have such great quality, price and service AND you get to support an irish company such a win-win for me.  Blank Canvas Brushes are amazing quality, soft and durable I recommend them to anyone and everyone!!  I’ve been using their contour palette for an age now (I will actually do a post on it in the near future) it’s a powder palette which I find gives a much more natural and blendable contour.

So on to the Master Series Palette One, this has become a staple in my makeup bag girls.  It introduced me to matte before I always used shimmer, I always thought it didn’t suit me.  This palette is made up of 12 neutral shades, including warm browns some with a red undertone and it also includes Lily (from the Pippa palette) and a champagne shimmer shade called Goddess which I use in the centre of the eye for an evening look.  The packaging is sturdy and when you close the lid it has a magnetic clasp to keep it secure, it also has a long mirror which I find handy for doing my makeup in the car (obviously in the passenger seat) when I’m running late (which is always!).  You also get the double ended eye brush, at one end you have the E40 flat shader which packs on the shadow and the other is the E41 blender this brush retails at €11.99 and its so refreshing to actually get a good brush in a palette!!! The shades I tend to use most are Lily, Cocoa, Downtown, Forza and Hickory, I use Corruption if I want to achieve a real smokey eye look in the outer corner of the eye or as a liner.

You do get a bit of fallout from the shadows but you can cope with that by doing either your eyes first then foundation or pack powder under the eye area and take it off with a powder brush when finished, it wouldn’t put me off buying it again.  It’s priced at €34.99 I bought mine direct from Blank Canvas or you can get it from Cloud10Beauty, it is hard to get a hold of but some pharmacies stock it too.  Personally I would buy this again and hope that Blank Canvas keep turning out these great quality products.

Have you tried it yet?? What do you think?

Till next time lovelies,

Sarah xxx
