Hi there girls,
At this stage you know how much I like to find a great budget beauty product for you and lets face it me too!!!! So I’d heard a lot about this Lacura Caviar range from Aldi, I held off on trying it because I had used a cheaper Lacura moisturiser before and had a terrible reaction. I was definitely dubious giving this a go but when my mum bought me one I just had to try it out.
It’s marketed as a lifting and firming skin care range for women 40+ but I feel I could do with all the help I can get! We should be using anti-aging from our late 20’s/early 30’s but most of us are not worrying about things like this at that age.
It contains Caviar extract and Snow Algae extract which are both meant to counteract the ageing process, it also contains Hyaluronic acid and SPF 15. Glycerin and Panthenol also feature in the ingredients and are great for moisturising. Panthenol, also known as vitamin B5, improves the skin barrier function to help the skin hold on to the moisture that it already has.
Firstly the packaging is definitely as good as a high-end brand, the jar itself it comes in is attractive and substantial filled with 50ml of cream. The cream itself is very luxurious, rich, thick and smells really nice. I use this every morning and evening, putting a little extra on at night because it’s so rich and moisturising I don’t see a need to use the night cream and a little goes a long way. I’ve been using this now for a month and I’m not even quarter way through the jar. When I put it on my skin looks immediately illuminated with a gorgeous glow and the moisturising feeling lasts all day, it even works as a base for your makeup. So all in all for the price point, €8.99 and moisturising benefits this is a good little purchase. If you’re in the market for a good budget moisturiser for dry skin especially, this would be a great little purchase for you.
Have you used this yet? What did you think of it? Let me know ………
Till next time lovelies,
